Oral Treatments Possible for MS

  • Oral treatment of multiple sclerosis could soon be a reality as two experimental pills pass clinical trials. Today, MS is treated with injections and infusions but this discovery could change the all of that significantly. During the trials, some people taking the drugs experienced adverse symptoms including herpes infections and an eye disease that has the potential to induce blindness. The FDA is among the regulators who will weigh the benefits to these symptoms and decide if the pills will hit the market.
